Grilled plums with spicy walnut yogurt sauce

Ingredients:

    Fruits

  • 6 plums, halved and pitted
  • 2 tsp rapeseed oil
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • A pinch of ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of finely grated orange zest
  • Spicy yogurt sauce with walnuts, recipe below

    Spicy yogurt sauce with walnuts

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 tsp. grated orange zest
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped toasted walnuts

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the grill to high heat. Brush the plums with oil, drizzle with 1 tablespoon honey, and sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon and orange zest. Place the plums, cut-side down, on the grill and grill for 2 minutes, or until golden brown and lightly caramelized. Flip and grill until heated through, about 1 minute more. Place 3 plum halves on each of four plates and top with a few tablespoons of the spiced nutty yogurt sauce.
  2. Spicy yogurt sauce with walnuts:


    Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate if not using immediately.
