Donut glaze

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Preparation:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the milk and vanilla and heat over low heat until lukewarm. Sift the powdered sugar into the milk mixture. Stir slowly. Remove the saucepan from the heat and place it over a bowl of hot water.
  2. Dip one donut at a time into the glaze and place them on a wire rack set over a baking sheet. Let set for 5 minutes and serve.
