Hot dogs with spicy pineapple relish

Preparation:

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium-high heat. Add 1/2 cup diced red onion, 1 cup diced bell pepper (red and yellow), and 1 diced jalapeño; season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook, stirring, until the vegetables are tender, 6 to 8 minutes.

Add 1 cup chopped pineapple, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 teaspoon mustard seeds, and the zest and juice of 1 lime; cook until thickened, another 5 to 8 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in 1/4 cup each chopped cilantro and parsley.

Grill 4 sausages, turning, until blackened with grill marks. Serve on toasted buns with pineapple relish.
