Ingredients:
- 4 thick slices bacon, cut into pieces
- 220 g of cream cheese, room temperature
- 2 cups grated cheddar
- 0.5 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
- 2 jalapeños, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 175°C.
- In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon, stirring occasionally, until crisp, about 8 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Reserve 1 tablespoon of the rendered fat.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar, sour cream, milk, vinegar, jalapeño, bacon, and reserved rendered fat. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake until golden brown and bubbly, about 30 minutes. Sprinkle with green onions before serving.
