Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 2-3 tsp ground chipotle pepper
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon grated lime zest
- 1/4 tsp granulated garlic
- Vegetable oil for greasing
- 1 egg white
- 2 cups raw unsalted cashews
- 2 cups raw unsalted pecans
- 1.5 cups mini pretzels
Preparation:
- Combine 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, sugar, chili powder, cumin, coriander, lime zest, and garlic in a small bowl; set aside.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil. Whisk the egg whites in a large bowl until foamy. Stir in the cashews, pecans, and mini pretzels. Sprinkle with the prepared spice mixture and toss to coat.
- Spread the nut mixture evenly on the baking sheet and bake, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes; let cool on the baking sheet.
