Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp. l. rapeseed oil (canola)
- 1 ciabatta
- 2 tbsp. l. garlic aioli
- 60 g of quality ham, thinly sliced
- 60 grams of high-quality capicola
- 30 g of high-quality hot soppressata
- 2 tomato slices
- 2 tbsp. pickled sweet peppers
- 4 romaine lettuce leaves
- 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar dressing
Preparation:
- Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add canola oil. Cut the ciabatta in half and toast it in the pan until lightly browned on both sides, about 1 minute per side.
- Transfer the bun to a cutting board. Spread aioli on both sides of the ciabatta. Begin layering the meats on the bottom half of the bun in the following order: ham, capicola, and soppressata. Add the tomato slices, season with salt and pepper, then add the pickled bell peppers.
- In a small bowl, combine the lettuce leaves with the dressing and season with salt and pepper to taste. Place the lettuce on top of the bell pepper and top with the top half of the bun. Cut the sandwich in half and enjoy!
