Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp. bourbon
- 2 tbsp. fresh mint
- 1.5 cups of sugar
Preparation:
- Combine 2 cups of fresh mint and 1.5 cups each of sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let steep for 1 hour; strain the mint syrup and refrigerate.
- Combine 3 cups of bourbon with 1-1.5 cups of mint syrup. Pour into 6 glasses filled with crushed ice; garnish with mint sprigs.
