Baked Acorn Squash Halves topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 1 large acorn squash, washed (about 700 g)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Fresh thyme sprigs for serving
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 220°C.
- Cut the pumpkin in half and remove the seeds and strings. Place the pumpkin halves on a baking sheet. Brush with butter and season with salt and pepper. Bake until the pumpkin is tender, 50-55 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with thyme sprigs, if using. Serve the pumpkin halves warm or at room temperature.
