Strawberry Daiquiri with Ginger topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 700 g frozen strawberries
- 1 and 1/4 cups rum
- 0.5 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 0.5 cups sugar syrup
- 1 tbsp. grated ginger
- Fresh strawberries, sliced, for garnish
- 1 cup of sugar
Preparation:
- Combine strawberries, rum, lime juice, syrup and ginger in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into frozen cocktail glasses and garnish with sliced strawberries. Serve immediately.
Simple sugar syrup: Yield: 1.5 cups
Combine sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool completely. Store in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
