Smoked pork ham in orange glaze

Ingredients:

  • 1 (6.5-7 kg) ready-made smoked spiral-cut ham on the bone
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 240 g orange confiture
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp. light brown sugar (compacted)
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 180C. Place the ham in a heavy-bottomed roasting pan.
  2. Finely chop the garlic in a food processor using the blade attachment. Add the marmalade, mustard, brown sugar, orange zest, and orange juice and process until smooth. Pour the glaze over the ham and bake for 1 hour, until the ham is cooked through and the glaze is golden brown. Serve hot or at room temperature.
