Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup corn flour
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour (wholemeal flour)
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 3/4 cups kefir
- 1 tbsp. l. melted butter
- Vegetable oil for greasing
Preparation:
- Preheat a 25 cm cast iron skillet to 220°C (425°F). Combine all the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Beat 2 eggs in a separate bowl, then add the kefir, melted butter, and honey and mix well. Add the flour mixture and knead into a batter.
- Grease a hot skillet with vegetable oil and pour in the batter. Place in the oven and bake until golden brown, 18-20 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
