Mojito cocktail with Cuban rum Bacardi topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 12 fresh spearmint leaves
- 1/2 lime
- 2 tbsp. sugar syrup (equal parts sugar and water are heated until the sugar dissolves and allowed to cool) or 4 tsp. sugar
- Ice
- 45 ml light rum (preferably Bacardi)
- Carbonated water
- Lime slices and mint sprigs for garnish
Preparation:
- In a tall glass, mash the mint leaves and lime. Add simple syrup or sugar and fill the glass with ice. Add rum and top up with soda water. Stir well. Garnish with a lime wedge and a sprig of mint.
