Champagne with pear brandy

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup (6 tbsp) pear brandy (recommended: Poire William)
  • 1 bottle of champagne or sparkling wine (750 ml), chilled
  • 1 ripe pear, cored and thinly sliced

Preparation:

  1. Pour 1 tablespoon of pear brandy into 6 champagne glasses. Top with champagne.
  2. Garnish glasses with pear slices or carefully drop pear slices into glasses.
