topcook.tomathouse.com

Ingredients:

  • 1.2 kg pork ribs, cut into good-sized pieces
  • 6 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. l. rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • Coarsely ground black pepper

Preparation:

  1. Place the ribs in a large bowl, pour in the apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sugar. Add 2/3 cup water and stir.
  2. Place the ribs and sauce in a large saucepan and bring to a simmer over low heat. Cover and bring to a gentle simmer. Simmer for about 40 minutes, until the meat is falling off the bone.
  3. Using a slotted spoon, remove the ribs from the pan. Increase the heat and simmer until the sauce thickens, 5 to 10 minutes. Add the honey, season with pepper, and simmer for another minute. Pour the glaze over the ribs, toss, and serve immediately.
