Maple Glazed Pecans

Ingredients:

  • 3 and 1/3 tbsp. pecan halves
  • 55 g butter
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1.5 tsp table salt
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Preparation:

  1. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter with the syrup, salt, and cayenne pepper. Add the nuts and stir, then let them simmer for 2-3 minutes. Transfer the nuts to a silicone mat, parchment paper, or foil and let cool. Transfer the glazed nuts to a bowl and serve. Yield: 3 1/3 cups.
