Kefir scones with onions

Preparation:

In a food processor, combine 1 1/2 cups flour, 1 tablespoon baking powder, and 1 teaspoon salt. Add 6 tablespoons (90 g) cold unsalted butter and process until a dough forms in pea-sized pieces.

Mix with 2/3 cup kefir and 2 tablespoons chopped chives. On an ungreased baking sheet, form the dough into a 6-inch square; cut into 12 squares. Brush the dough with kefir. Bake the scones at 425°F (220°C) until golden brown, 25 minutes. Cool slightly and serve.
