Mashed potatoes with cheddar cheese

Ingredients:

  • 900 g unpeeled yellow-skinned potatoes
  • 1 cup grated cheddar
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 60 g butter
  • A little fried bacon, crumbled
  • Chopped green onions for sprinkling

Preparation:

  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain. Cool, then peel.

    Heat milk and butter in the microwave.

    Mash the potatoes with hot milk until smooth and stir in the grated cheddar. Sprinkle with bacon and green onions.
