Spicy fruit salad with oranges and pears

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sliced ​​dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup sliced ​​dried cherries or raisins
  • 3 strips of lemon zest
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tube cinnamon
  • 2 oranges, peeled, divided into segments, membrane removed
  • 2 pears, cut into slices
  • A pinch of ground vanilla
  • Yogurt, for serving

Preparation:

  1. Combine dried apricots, dried cherries, lemon zest, lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon stick, and 2 tablespoons of water in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds. Stir in oranges and pears, add a pinch of vanilla, and let the salad sit for 30 minutes.
  2. Serve fruit salad with yogurt.
